Scarlett when we took Reserve Winner August 2009                                                    The very next day Scarlet took Best of Winners!!!!

Hi! My name is Penny Schmit.  I'm your host here at Smileyview Acres in Plainview Minnesota; we are 25 miles NE of Rochester Minnesota. My family and I raise and show the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels; they are the perfect all around family friend and companion dog, and we also have puppies for sale when available.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a delightfully affectionate, playful, intelligent little dog breed that repays his owner's care and attention with an endearing devotion.   Because of four hundred years of close contact with their owners and their development as lap dogs, they make wonderful companions.  They are happy, outgoing, loving little dogs who want to love you and be loved, to run and play in a safe place and to sleep in a soft bed - preferably your bed, but they're willing to negotiate on that point! They get along will with children, cats and other dogs. Our dogs are part of our family.  They are treated with love and respect.

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are raised in our home with us as part of our family.  Our puppies come to you well socialized and will be started going potty outside!!  Not only do we play with them on a daily basis, but they are also introduced to your typical indoor and outdoor noises and situations. When they leave our home they will be up to date on their shots and worming.

We hope you enjoy our website and please if you have any questions about us or our Cavaliers feel free to contact us.  Phone calls and emails are always welcomed.
